It's been there for a while now but lately got taken over by a different manager. It's adjacent to the park by the main road and it is inarguably a genuinely funny way to spend an evening. On a standard night, there could be 4 or 5 comedians performing, including the MC, and then to follow there is a nightclub so everyone can drink into the wee hours.
Everybody can offer their unique best-loved location.
There is what is known as the north south opposition which changes Londoners' attitudes to everything, but even discounting that, some people will like the theatre, whereas some will have a list of favourite restaurants. Many know many of the most popular green spaces and the greatest romantic places and some have been to the cheapest music emporium.
